Tek-Wax™ Fabric From Our Pals At British Millerain Company.
Nostalgia aside, waxed cotton was a hassle. We went back to the original creators (back in 1880!) of waxed cotton — British Millerain. Their newest innovation is called a "tek-wax" fabric. It has the same rugged waterproofing, zero mess, zero stink.
Shotgunner Shell Pockets
The classic, cavernous shotgun shell pockets stay, perfect for shells or anything else—keys, lenses, a handful of nails, you name it. We added microsuede lining to save your skin from chafing.
Ingenious Sleeve Tensioner
Jackets designed to deal with inclement weather generally feature a slightly longer sleeve to protect your wrists from the elements. This is great, until you find yourself dealing with tasks which require dexterity. Then, having extra fabric at the wrist can become a real headache.
Our solution to this conundrum is something I'll bet you've never seen on another jacket: An ingenious, internal tensioning device which allows you to adjust the length of the sleeve up to 3".
