Michael had reached out a couple of weeks ago with some questions about sizing, and we ended up chatting for an hour. (This happens quite a bit. One of the benefits to making things for our generation is that my customers end up being extremely interesting dudes.)
His order came later that week with a note: We were to send his new pieces to his Lisbon hotel, as he would be passing through on his way from California to business meetings in Europe.
This struck me as an opportunity both hang out with Michael and to make sure he had exactly the right pieces. So I invited him to spend Sunday morning poolside at Ninho, Lisbon’s coolest private club.
Our goal was twofold: Customer Concierges Eugénia and Júlia (known to many of you) had plenty of sizing options to make sure we had the exact fit.
But we also brought along our in-house filmmaker/photographer, Guilherme. We sipped champaign while taking advantage of Ninho’s gorgeous grounds to make sure Michael left loaded with killer photos for his personal and professional use. A few examples are attached here. I think you can see Michael’s incredible energy in each of them.
The entire experience making friends, and the lunch he spent with myself, Joci, and the team, made for an extremely memorable Sunday.
